How does an FFL transfer work at The Broken Gun?

Have the seller ship the firearm to 4908 S Carmine, Mesa, AZ 85212. Call or text 602-908-9514 first so I know it's coming and can send my license (FFL # 9-86-013-07-7b-17682). When it arrives I log it in, you come by with valid ID, we run the background check and complete the paperwork. Standard transfer is $20, or $10 for military and first responders with proper ID.

Do I need an appointment?

Monday through Friday is by appointment only so I can set aside proper bench time. Saturdays are open 10:00 to 4:00. Closed Sunday. Texting 602-908-9514 is the fastest way to reach me.

What areas do you serve?

The shop is in southeast Mesa near Signal Butte and Elliot, an easy drive from Gilbert, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction and Chandler. Customers come from across the East Valley and the greater Phoenix metro.

How much does a repair cost?

The shop rate is $85 per hour with a $40 minimum per firearm. Written estimates are $35 and valid for 30 days. You get an honest write-up of what's wrong and what it takes before any work starts.

Are you a licensed and certified gunsmith?

Yes. The Broken Gun holds a federal firearms license (FFL # 9-86-013-07-7b-17682) and Mike trained through the American Gunsmithing Institute, on top of ten years as a mechanic and twenty in parts management.
