Firearm Re-Finishing & Polishing in Mesa, AZ

Holster wear, tool marks and deep scratches don't have to be permanent. Most surface damage can be drawn down, blended, and polished back to an even finish.

This is slow, patient work — done by hand, checked in the light, and taken only as far as the metal allows without changing dimensions that matter.

Honest expectations

Some pits are too deep to chase without thinning metal. I'll tell you up front what can be fixed, what can be improved, and what's better left alone.

Collector pieces

On older or collectible firearms, refinishing can affect value. We'll talk that through before anything touches the metal.

Feedback from East Valley customers who've had this work done at the bench.

"Awesome custom service on a World War II era pistol. Good price. Will definitely return for any gunsmith needs."

"I was referred to Mike to help me with my firearms. Mike quoted the job and went way beyond the normal course of business. I liked his work so much, I brought everything I have to him for inspection and a cleaning service. He runs a clean shop, is very punctual and has great attention to detail. I intend to improve some things in the future and Mike has become my go to for all of my bullet launchers. His prices are competitive too! As a former military person from the old school, this is someone I can trust with my prized possessions."

"Mike was very responsive and very detailed when fixing my AR-15. I had this barrel issue that wouldn't let me fire a round! I took it to The Broken Gun and man he was like a surgeon! Taking measurements, taking photos, and sending me pictures to show the issue. I was worried about being nickeled and dimed taking it to a gunsmith but he was able to identify the issue, tell me what I need, and fixed the issue! Very reasonable on pricing to a point I felt like I underpaid! Within 3 days I received my firearm back and man it shot like a dream. No issues whatsoever and very well built. No oil being dispensed out of any areas as it was cleaned and oiled perfectly. I will definitely return my firearm to Mike without a question."
